Thank you my brother

My brother and I have always been close. We never fought & we were best buddies growing up. I was only 2 and a half when he was born but I can remember that day like it was yesterday. It's my earliest memory. He was born Christmas day in 1983 and I remember my Daddy coming to his parents house & telling me that I had a baby brother. I wanted to go then, leave my toys behind & all to meet this new baby of mine. He was so worn out & they told me Daddy had to have a nap first. I remember getting to the hospital and him lifting me up to look in the window with his mother by our sides. Then my Mommy walking through the door & me running to her & being upset that she couldn't pick me up. The point of this is he has always been there from the time I can remember on. We haven't been as close over the last few years, he has been wrapped up in his own little world. When he broke his ankle 2 days before our Daddy died and had to have surgery that slowed him down. Through losing our father we have gotten closer again. Spending more time together & it has been awesome! I am so thankful that he is getting his life on a better track & spending more time with his family. I love him so much & truly am grateful for this renewed relationship.
Pic was taken less than a week after Layla was born.

That's awesome! You're so lucky to have a relationship with your brother, and I'm happy to hear you two are growing close again. I rarely have the opportunity to see my two brothers. They visited last December, and I had such a fantastic time with them. The older of my two bros-26, we talked wee into the night, laughed and laughed like best friends. Miss that kid, like crazy.

You two look quite a bit alike! :)

I love this picture! So sweet! It's kinda cool...like your brother is watching you over your shoulder. Really cool!

I am close to my brother, too. He's great. And I am so glad to have him in my life! I'm glad you have a close relationship with your brother! That's so great!
